Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

We use the TikTok SDK in our iOS app to measure advertising performance and attribute app installs and in-app events to TikTok ad campaigns. TikTok is operated by TikTok Technology Limited and its affiliates (collectively, "TikTok"). When you use our app, certain information may be shared with TikTok for these purposes, subject to TikTok's own privacy practices.

Depending on your device settings and whether you allow tracking, TikTok may receive information such as your advertising identifier, device information, IP address, and event data related to your use of the app (for example, app opens and purchases). TikTok may use this information to provide analytics, attribution, and advertising-related services to us.

Apple SKAdNetwork

Our iOS app uses Apple's SKAdNetwork framework to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns in a privacy-preserving way. When you install or use our app, Apple may send anonymized conversion data to ad networks (including TikTok) that participated in showing you an ad. This data does not include your name, email, or Snapchat content, and is subject to Apple's privacy rules for SKAdNetwork.

SKAdNetwork postbacks may include limited information such as the ad campaign that led to an install and coarse conversion values (for example, whether a purchase occurred), without directly identifying you.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your Choices and Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You can also request a copy of your data or withdraw your consent for data processing.

On iOS, you can control whether apps may track you across other companies' apps and websites by going to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and adjusting your preferences for MemSafe. If you deny tracking permission, we will not access your advertising identifier for cross-app tracking, though limited attribution may still occur through SKAdNetwork as described above.
